  • Can I go solo?

Of course!  Many of or travelers go solo, that is why our trips work!  We match roommates so you do not have to pay a single room supplement, and it’s an instant friend.   We send along a trip leader/s to gather folks to ski, après, dine, nightlife, hangout, have fun, together.  Trips are not cliquey.  If you want to meet new people, make new friends, going solo is a great way to go.  We don’t make you do anything, but if you want to meet and hang with others, it is there for you.  If you want to do your own thing, that is okay as well.

  • What is the age range?

Age varies from trip to trip, but on weekends the age range is in the 21-45 age range.  You will see some older, even retirees, but the majority will be in the 21-45 range.  * Our weekend trips are 21+.  Exceptions made on a trip by trip basis. ** Bus trips tend to draw a slighter older crowd, 35-55.

  • Hotel/sleeping arrangements?

We are staying in typical hotel, with 2 beds and two people per room.  If going solo, we will match you with a same gender, same age (close as possible) roommate.  We do not match opposite genders, unless requested by both people.  OR you may request to be matched up with a friend or significant other as you wish, of any gender.  You may also choose to pay for a single room at an extra cost, based on availability.

  • I snore/what if my roommate snores?

If you know you snore, you may want to be considerate and pay to get yourself a single room, or bring earplugs for your roommate.  If you are worried about your roommate snoring, you may want to consider paying for a single room or bringing ear plugs.  A single room is extra, based on availability.

  • Will there be people to ski with?

From intermediate to advanced, chances are very good there will be many people that ski at your level.  The trip leader/s will arrange for those interested to ski together on the first morning to match up with same-level ability, and to make sure nobody is skiing alone that does not want to ski alone.  Beginners may want to sign up for lessons.

  • Will there be people to après/dine/hang out with?

Yes!  Trip leader will arrange daily meetings to ski together, to meet for après ski, for dinner, nightlife, etc.  You do not have to do all or any, we don’t make anybody do anything, but if you want company, it will be there.  You can pick and chose where to meet up with group as well.

  • Are there any other activities other than skiing?

Yes!  More than any other resort in the east!  Home to two Winter Olympics, there is a plethora of off-slope activities.  In fact, there is plenty to do for non-skiers to enjoy a weekend here.  In town, walking distance of our hotel, are many shops, pubs, and restaurants.  There is a town shuttle from hotel to the Olympic Sports Complex where there is a museum, you can ice skate the famous ice oval or ice rink, ski jumps, and Bobsled track where YOU can take a ride in a bobsled or skeleton!   There is also dog-sledding, snowmobiling, XC skiing and snowshoeing, and much more.

  • Is there carpooling?

We will do our best to hook you up with others who would like to carpool.  We will share emails of those interested in needing rides or can take riders and you can reach out to them and arrange carpooling. We cannot guarantee you will find a ride if you do not have a car, but we will try our best.   We can share your email before signing up for the trip.

  • Can I rent equipment there?

Yes.   BSSC has group rates if you sign up in advance.
