  • Is this for singles or couples?

Both.  Most of the people on all of our trips are single.  We do get couples as well, but mostly singles.  Some come with a friend or two, or even a small group, and MANY come solo.  That is why our trips work.   They are great for everybody.  You will meet many new friends whether coming alone, with a friend, or even a significant other.

  • Can I go solo?

Of course!  Many of our travelers go solo…that’s why our trips work so well.  We match roommates so you do not have to pay a single room supplement and have an instant friend, or single rooms may be available on request for an additional fee.   BSSC trips are well-organized and staffed by friendly leaders who can arrange group meals and get-togethers.  If you want to meet new people and make new friends, group socializing is there for you, but if you prefer to do your own thing, that is totally fine too.

  • What is the age range?

Age varies from trip to trip, but weekends are in the 21-35 average age range.  You will see some younger, some older, but the majority will be in the 21-35 range.
    * Our weekend trips are 21+.

  • What are the rooming arrangements? Can I get a single room?

If going solo, we will match you with a same gender, same age (close as possible), smoker/non-smoker roommate.  We do not match opposite genders, unless requested by both people.    Worried that you or your roommate snores, or just want a single room, you may choose to pay for a single room at an extra cost, based on availability.

  • Will there be people to ski and hang out with?

Yes!  Trip leaders will arrange meet up times on the ski excursions, for dinners, nightlife, and things to do in the city.   You do not have to do all or any.  We don’t make anybody do anything, but if you want company, it will be there.  If you want to do your own thing, that is okay as well.

  • Are there any other day activities other than skiing?

Yes.  There is plenty to do off the slopes including guided city tours, great museums, Notre Dame Basilica, the Bio Dome, Olympic Stadium, and just walking the streets to visit the shops and stores.  FYI Montreal has a great underground city, with shops, stores, restaurants, ice skating and more, all connected by subway train.

  • Can I rent equipment there?

Yes.  There are rental shops at each resort.
