  • Is this for singles or couples?

Both.  Most of the people on all of our trips are single.  We do get couples as well, but mostly singles.  Some come with a friend or two, or even a small group, and MANY come solo.  That is why our trips work.   They are great for everybody.  You will meet many new friends whether coming alone, with a friend, or even a significant other.

  • Can I go solo?

Of course!  Many of our travelers go solo…that’s why our trips work so well.  We match roommates so you do not have to pay a single room supplement and have an instant friend, or single rooms may be available on request for an additional fee.   BSSC trips are well-organized and staffed by friendly leaders who can arrange group meals and get-togethers.  If you want to meet new people and make new friends, group socializing is there for you, but if you prefer to do your own thing, that is totally fine too.

  • What is the age range?

Age varies from trip to trip, but weekends are in the 21-35 average age range.  You will see some younger, some older, but the majority will be in the 21-35 range.
    * Our weekend trips are 21+.

  • What are the condo/sleeping arrangements?

We are staying in 2-4 bedroom condos with 2 beds and two people per room (some rooms have one bed for couples, or singles).  If going solo, we will match you with a same gender, same age (close as possible), smoker/non-smoker roommate.   Nobody sleeps on the sofa bed or shares a bed with a stranger.  We do not match opposite genders, unless requested by both people.  OR you may request to be matched up with a friend or significant other as you wish, of any gender.  You may also choose to pay for a single room in the condo at an extra cost, based on availability.  Living areas like kitchen, living room, bathrooms are shared and may be coed.

  • Will there be people to ski and hang out with?

Yes!  Trip leader will arrange daily meetings to ski together, to meet for après ski, for the pool/ hot tub, for dinner, nightlife, etc.  You do not have to do all or any.  We don’t make anybody do anything, but if you want company, it will be there.  If you want to do your own thing, that is okay as well.

  • Are there any other activities other than skiing?

Yes.  There is an indoor pool at the condo as well as free use of the Sugarloaf Sports Center (health club) with indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, fitness center, etc.  There is also snowshoeing, tubing, and you may also exchange your lift ticket for XC rentals and trail pass.

  • Is there carpooling?

We will do our best to hook you up with others who would like to carpool.  We will share emails of those interested in needing rides or can take riders and you can reach out to them and arrange carpooling.  We cannot guarantee you will find a ride if you do not have a car, but we will try our best.   We can share your email before signing up for the trip.

  • Can I rent equipment there?

Yes.  There is a rental shop located at the base area.  You can take a free shuttle from the condo.  BSSC has group rates if you sign up in advance.
