Locations include: Portland Park & Ride at Marginal Way in Portland and Gorham Park & Ride in Gorham. The Gorham Park & Ride is available for New Hampshire mountain destinations only.  A map of the pick-up points will be available in your confirmation when you purchase a trip.

  • What kind of transportation do you use?

Maine Ski Shuttle uses top of the line 56 passenger motorcoach buses from Northeast Charter & Tour Co. Buses are equipped with Wi-Fi, a bathroom, outlets, reading lamps and plenty of storage for all of your ski & snowboard equipment.

  • Maine Ski Shuttle- What if the weather is bad – When will you cancel my trip?

Maine Ski Shuttle trips are rarely cancelled. All arrangements have been made and paid for well in advance. If we have to cancel a trip, we will make every effort to give you as much notice as possible. Because conditions & weather can change quickly in New England, we make updates as necessary (24/7).  If conditions look to be problematic, we suggest you check before heading out.  Cancellations will be posted on the specific trip page as well as the Maine Ski Shuttle Facebook Page, @maineskishuttle.

  • Why do I need a BSSC Account to register for the Maine Ski Shuttle?

The Maine Ski Shuttle is a proud partner of the Boston Ski & Sports Club (BSSC). With over 50 years experience, BSSC is Boston area’s leading transport to the best ski resorts of New England.  With  BSSC’s extensive knowledge and support, the Maine Ski Shuttle is excited to offer an equally exceptional ski experience and value to the skiers and snowboarders of Maine.

To keep prices low, all transactions will be run through the Boston Ski & Sports Club website, thus the need to create a BSSC account. We have designed our registration process to be seamless, quick and easy to get you on the Maine Ski Shuttle and enjoy your day ski trip!

  • What if I have my own ski pass – can I just get a ride?

Yes, we offer a “bus only” option for people who have a pass or aren’t planning to ski. It is $39 and includes a round-trip bus ride and assistance from our trip guides for anything else you may need!

  • How far in advance do I need to register?

Most people sign up 3 days to a week prior, but you can check the website or call us for last minute space.  You should only register once you are sure you can go, since all day trips are non-refundable and not transferrable to another date. We do offer walk on space for $100 cash at the bus, subject to availability.

  • Can minors (under 18) ski or snowboard with Maine Ski Shuttle?

All ages are welcome on or Day Ski & Snowboard trips.  The only requirement is that if the participant is 13 or younger, his/her parent must be on the trip and he/she must carry the parental consent form at all times.  For ages 14-17, they may go alone, but must carry the parental consent form.

  • Can I get rentals or lessons?

Yes.  For rentals, you pre-pay on-line so you’ll be all set when you get to the mountain. If you forget to pre-purchase, let the trip leader know that morning and they will make sure you get a voucher to receive our group rate (varies by mountain).

For lessons, we recommend you contact the mountain directly to select the appropriate package.  If you choose a package that includes a lift ticket, simply register with Maine Ski Shuttle as a “bus-only.”

  • Can I leave stuff on the bus while skiing?

You may leave items on the bus, but you will not have access to your belongings during the day as the bus will be locked and parked.  Many people purchase a locker at a lodge at the mountain. MSS is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal property.

  • Can I drive myself and just get a lift ticket?

No, sorry you can’t. The resorts do not permit MSS to give lift tickets to anyone who did not travel to the mountain on our bus.

  • I want to stay with friends for the weekend and drive back with them? Can I do that?

Yes.  When you arrive at the bus, be sure to let the trip leader know that you won’t be on the return trip.

  • Can I drink alcohol or smoke on the bus?

Alcohol, drugs, and smoking (including vaping) are prohibited on the buses, and Maine Ski Shuttle reserves the right to exclude intoxicated or disorderly persons from any portion of a trip without refund of money.
