BSSC's Updated Safety Standards

Hello BSSCers, As things begin to fully re-open, we want to first express our appreciation to our incredible BSSC community. It has been a long, challenging year, but with your patience, flexibility and participation with us…whether you have played for months or are returning now, whether you were playing your favorite sport or taking a run on your favorite ski trail, BSSC is still standing strong and excited to continue to deliver you the things that you love to do.

Secondly, we want to let you know that, following the latest recommendations provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Governor Baker, BSSC will join a long list of companies across the U.S. and Massachusetts that are adopting the CDC's new guidelines related to face coverings. Throughout the pandemic, BSSC has carefully planned and implemented safety protocols following the requirements and advice of public health officials and experts, and these updated policy measures are a continuation of that commitment.

Following the CDC’s updated recommendation, effective Saturday May 29, fully vaccinated players/participants are approved to safely discontinue wearing face coverings in both indoor and outdoor spaces, and physical distancing will no longer be required for vaccinated individuals in most areas. Players/Participants who are not fully vaccinated should continue the existing protocols of wearing face coverings indoors and when unable to socially distance outdoors. This policy is in effect for all BSSC activities UNLESS the location (field, facility, resort, venue) has different policies which will need to be followed. If a location has different safety requirements, this information will be posted on the activity web pages on bssc.com.
