Weekend Itinerary

Friday – Arrival & Kickoff

Check-in begins at 5:30 PM on Friday. We recommend arriving no later than 9:00 PM to enjoy the welcome dinner and kickoff festivities. The drive from Boston typically takes around three hours (without traffic), so plan your departure accordingly. Upon arrival, head to the front desk to receive your cabin keys and a printed schedule of activities. Club Getaway staff will be available to guide you to your accommodations and answer any questions.

If you arrive early enough, you can jump right into the action—enjoy a lakeside happy hour, play volleyball, or take part in pre-dinner games. At 9:00 PM, head to the dining hall where BSSC guests will be seated together at reserved tables. Dinner is served family-style and includes complimentary wine. During the meal, camp staff will give a casual orientation and explain how to sign up for the weekend’s activities.

After dinner, the party moves down to the Boathouse for a lakeside dance party with a live DJ. Or if you prefer to stay active, the volleyball and basketball courts are lit and open for late-night play. Whether you’re in the mood to dance, mingle, or shoot hoops under the stars, Friday night is all about setting the tone for an epic weekend.

Saturday – Choose Your Adventure

Wake up to an incredible breakfast buffet featuring fresh omelets, home fries, pancakes, waffles, crepes, fruit and yogurt, baked goods, cereals, and more. After breakfast, sign up for your preferred activities—then the day is yours to fill with as much (or as little) as you like.

Lunch is another over-the-top buffet with something for everyone. Think gourmet burgers and veggie burgers, hot dogs, a 15+ item salad bar, a dedicated vegetarian and vegan station, a BBQ pit, pasta bar, fajita bar, and an entire table of homemade breads and sweets. You’ll never go hungry here.

The afternoon is packed with options—from high ropes and ziplining to kayaking, paddleboarding, and the legendary giant slip & slide. Join in on organized games like the Crazy Olympics or just float around in the lake on giant inflatables. A past guest described one Saturday like this: “In one day, we did the high ropes course, ziplining, archery, paddleboarding, bungee trampoline, Geronimo drop, played basketball, hung out at the waterfront, and made it to the ‘Kiss Me I’m Irish’ happy hour with drinking games and kegs.”

Dinner is again served family-style with fresh, chef-prepared entrées, pasta, vegetarian dishes, and flowing wine. The evening continues with another themed party at the Boathouse, along with campfires and s’mores, midnight karaoke, snacks, coffee, and games. Volleyball and basketball courts stay open late for anyone with energy to burn.

Sunday – Last Hurrah

Sunday offers one more chance to enjoy everything Club Getaway has to offer. Check the schedule, sign up for any final activities, or revisit your favorites. From morning yoga to a final paddle on the lake, there’s still plenty of fun left to squeeze in.

A relaxed lunch wraps up the weekend around midday. Afterward, you’ll have time to return to your cabin, shower, pack up, and say your goodbyes before heading home feeling recharged, exhilarated, and ready to do it all again next year.
