New Location, Same Ski Expertise: The Ski Monster Moves to 10 High Street

Ski season is right around the corner, and Boston-area skiers and snowboarders will find a familiar name in a brand-new location. After 12 years on Canal Street, The Ski Monster has officially moved to 10 High Street in downtown Boston, bringing its extensive selection of ski and snowboard equipment, experienced staff, and specialized services to a new home. The new space offers plenty to explore, with skis, snowboards, boots, and gear throughout the shop. But while the surroundings have changed, The Ski Monster brings the same approach that’s made it a fixture in Boston’s ski community: a knowledgeable crew that spends plenty of time on the mountain testing the equipment they sell.

Getting the Right Fit Before Ski Season

Anyone who’s spent a day on the slopes with uncomfortable boots knows how quickly equipment problems can take the fun out of skiing.

Finding the right ski boot involves more than choosing the correct size. Foot shape, fit, and skiing style all affect comfort and performance. The Ski Monster has made boot fitting one of its specialties, helping skiers find the right setup and adjust their existing equipment.

The new location features dedicated fitting stations, along with full-service ski and snowboard tuning, repairs, and custom boot work. Whether you’re shopping for new equipment or getting your current gear ready for another season, it’s worth taking care of those details before heading north.

A New Chapter for a Boston Ski Community Favorite

The Ski Monster has been part of Boston’s ski community for more than a decade and a longtime BSSC partner, helping us celebrate the start of winter with incredible prizes at our annual Blizzard Ski Kickoff Party.

The new store offers a fresh space to explore the latest equipment, get expert advice, and prepare for the season ahead.

The Ski Monster is now open at 10 High Street, Boston. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend appointments for boot fittings and specialized services.
