Looking to kick off the ski season with a bang? What better way than to join BSSC for an exhilarating 2-day adventure to Sunday River! It’s all about fun on snow plus tons of activities to enjoy. And with cutting-edge snowmaking, the resort boasts some of the best early-season trails and terrain. You’ll be staying slope-side at the luxurious Grand Summit Resort, which features an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs, a fitness room, arcade, and restaurant. Each room is well-equipped with linens, flat-screen HDTVs, kitchenettes (except in standard rooms), plus hairdryers and coffee makers. Whether you’re hitting the slopes solo, with a partner, friends, or family, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Please note that if you need lift tickets, you must purchase your lift tickets directly through Sunday River. Upon registration with BSSC, you will receive a code to get a group discount for your lift tickets.

Arrival Day Friday
Arrive anytime on Friday at your leisure. Rooms may not be ready until 6pm. Check in at the front desk for keys. Drop off your skis/boards in the 2nd-floor ski-check room. Enjoy the evening at your own leisure.
Saturday
Roll out of bed and start your day. Enjoy breakfast on your own. Restaurants are available at the hotel, cafeterias at the base lodges, or enjoy breakfast in your room.
The trip leader will organize a meet-up time in the morning for skiing and riding if you choose to join. If enough snow (there usually is by this time), enjoy the slopes and lifts right out the back door of the hotel, true ski-in ski-out. If not, there are free shuttles to other base areas.
The trip leader will organize a meet-up time in the afternoon for lunch and to hook up with others for skiing and riding, or explore on your own. Many places to choose from at the various base lodges.
Ski at your leisure and return to the hotel as you wish. The trip leader will organize time and place for après ski and/or enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs.
The trip leader will organize a time and place for dinner and nighttime entertainment, or you can enjoy on your own. There is a plethora of restaurants and clubs in the area and the nearby town of Bethel.
Sunday
Roll out of bed at your leisure. Breakfast on your own. Same as Saturday.
CHECK OUT!! – Return keys to the front desk and pay any room charges! Note: contactless checkout procedures will also be in place.
The trip leader will organize a meet-up time in the morning for skiing and riding, and a time and place for lunch, or enjoy on your own. You may use the pool area all day for showering and changing before departing.

Frequently Asked Questions
For BSSC overnight travel, booking 3-4 weeks in advance is recommended. For week-long vacations, book early to guarantee your spot and get the best rates. Ski vacations are usually announced in the summer at a $100-$150 savings. Check each trip for specific deadlines and policies. The closer the travel date, the more complex and costly it might be to procure accommodations and/or airfare.
Yes! BSSC makes it easy and economical for the solo traveler. Our lodging options are spelled out clearly for each trip giving you the choice of room that best fits your needs.
BSSC traditionally offers “minimum occupancy”. Whether in a hotel or condo, it is typically two per room, and you each get your own bed. Nobody has to sleep on a pullout or rollaway. Select trips may also offer lower prices for triple and quad occupancy.
Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. If traveling solo, we will match you with a roommate of the same gender and approximate age, or you may request to room with a friend or significant other of any gender.

Refunds are possible – policies vary depending on the type of trip and timing of your cancellation. The closer you are to departure, the less likely we will be able to refund you 100%. Cancellations are subject to the regulations and cancellation fees set by BSSC, tour operators, and agents carrying out services. There is no refund for unused services. Please check specific policies for your trip. We also recommend that vacationers purchase travel insurance and can provide more info upon request.
