When you join one of BSSC’s outdoor softball leagues, you’re joining one of the largest recreational adult softball programs in the area. From late April through November, over 300 teams play on high-quality, well maintained softball fields throughout Greater Boston.
Our Greater Boston & Metro Boston leagues focus on competitive balance, as most leagues have 15-50 teams, playing 10 game seasons with 2-4 levels of play. These Leagues play at multiple premier locations including Allston, Brighton, Cambridge, Medford, Newton, Somerville, Watertown, Woburn and more. Teams can choose location preferences when registering.
Our single site leagues are less of a commitment with shorter 6 or 8 game seasons & hour long games. For these leagues we offer Brighton, Cambridge & Medford options.

“This is a great organization….I've played in BSSC's flag football, softball, indoor soccer leagues and look forward to trying a few other sports. I have not been on a trip yet, but they always have tons of them. They also have tons of bar nights and events."
